OSG bahalang dumiskarte sa isyu ng ABS CBN (Sa pagbasura ng SC sa quo warranto)

IPNAUUBAYA ng Palasyo sa Office of the Solicitor General ang pagpapasya sa susunod na diskarte matapos ibasura ng Korte Suprema ang isinampa nitong quo warranto laban sa ABS-CBN network.

“We respect the decision of the High Court, a separate and co-equal branch of government, on the quo warranto case filed against ABS-CBN Corporation,” ayon kay Presidential spokesman Harry Roque sa isang kalatas kahapon.

“We leave it to the Solicitor General as the Petitioner to decide on his next legal steps,” sabi ni Roque.

Batay sa desisyon ng Supreme Court, moot and academic ang petisyong inihain ni Calida dahil itinigil ng ABS-CBN ang kanilang operasyon alinsunod sa utos ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) makaraang magwakas ang 25-year franchise nito noong nakaraang buwan. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
