NABANGGIT ni Nadine Lustre sa kanyang interview sa isang FM radio na maraming challenges supposedly ang dumating sa kanya for the past three years.
For one, her younger brother passed away last 2017, causing depression to set in.
Sa simula naman ng 2020, nagkahiwalay naman sila ng kanyang boyfriend of four years na si James Reid.
Ang pinakamalaking challenge raw sa kanya is how to put a straight face even if inside you’re already falling apart.
She was able to experience that when her brother died. Isaiah Lustre who was all of 16 years old died last October 7, 2017 because of depression.
During that time, she tried to put up a brave front while co-hosting It’s Showtime.
“Every day, I did Showtime, and it was so hard. I had to put a happy face, a smiling face on…
“But deep down, I was breaking because of what happened,” she intimated.
In this business, everything is purportedly magnified ten times.
Isa pa raw natutunan ni Nadine sa industriya ay maging “bulletproof.”
Wala raw siyang pinagsisisihan sa mga nasabi niya kahit may mga nagalit pa sa kanya.
If it’s any consolation, alam raw niyang ‘di siya masamang tao.
But as time goes by, she has come to ignore the opinions of other people.
“Kasi, the only thing that matters is I’m good, my family is good, like, my friends are okay.
“That’s the only thing that matters to me.
“It’s not what other people think about you, it’s what you think about yourself.”
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
