IBINALITA sa amin ni Lance Raymundo na nakatakda na silang mag-shooting sa mga susunod na buwan ng pelikulang Penduko na pagbibidahan ni Matteo Guidicelli at pamamahalaan ni Direk Jason Paul Laxamana.
Pahayag ni Lance nang maka-chat namin sa FB, “We received our shooting sched na for Penduko. So, confirmed na, tuloy ang production this year. We begin this August.”
Nabanggit pa ni Lance na habang naka-ECQ ang buong Luzon, hindi siya tumigil sa kanyang pag-eensayo at preparasyon para sa naturang pelikula.
“I work out everyday at home. Kaya actually, di ko masasabing natengga ako. ‘Coz I have kept myself busy the whole time.
“I’m still very fit! Thanks to my coach Culver Padilla and Team KPFITNESS na three times a week kami may online workout training, 9:30 am to 11 am. Then I also do online fight training with the Penduko Stunt Team, ‘yung Redline Action Design, three times a week.
“So, I actually work out six days every week!” pahayag pa niya.
Ano ang mafi-feel niya kapag humarap ulit sa camera para sa shooting ng Penduko? Excited na ba siyang mag-shooting ng Penduko?
“During the past months on quarantine, maraming beses akong nakapag-guest sa mga talk shows online, pati na rin TV Programs na nag-migrate sa online platform… So basically, we were never away from the camera during ECQ.
“We also had to groom, get styled and dress up for our online appearances. So, medyo same pa rin ang pakiramdam.”
Pahabol pa ni Lance, “But as for Penduko… I’m definitely excited kasi, that will be my first time to be on camera na may katabi akong ibang tao.
“Penduko will be my very first movie under Viva Films! I signed with Viva in 2018 and had three singles, three music videos, two teleseryes, countless hosting gigs and live performances. But this is my first time to act in their movie and I’ve been looking forward to this for the past two years. It’s definitely worth the wait!
“Also… since I was a kid, my dream is to be in a fantasy movie and Penduko is slated to be the country’s groundbreaking fantasy action movie! Viva even flew in stunt directors from America to train us. Our stunt directors have worked in major Hollywood productions.”
So, stunt director pa lang, tipong pang-world class talaga? “Yes!” Pakli ng actor, singer, composer.
Aniya pa, “Our stunt director has even worked with Michael Jackson, also in Star Wars. So roon pa lang, alam natin na ibang level ‘yung preparation dito talaga. Isa siyang Fil-Am, ang name niya ay Sonny Sison.
“Also… super magkasundo kaming mga cast members… So, I’m sure masaya ‘yung shoot. We have already bonded over the past months during stunt training.”
Nakasama ba niya sa training ang mister ni Sarah Geronimo?
Tugon ni Lance, “Si Matteo, we never had the chance to bond yet, ‘coz the early days of training was like boot camp… So we arrive on set, warm up, train, get evaluated… then hindi sabay-sabay ang pag-dismiss sa amin.
“The only time na naging mas magkakilala kami ng ibang actors was a couple of weeks later, noong sanay na kami sa stunts and we have the luxury of time to relax and talk and chill in between exercises.”
