PROMISING ang newbie singer na si Migz Coloma na very soon ay maglalabas ng kanyang CD lite album. May ibubuga si Migz sa kantahan at seryoso sa pinasok niyang career.
Si Migz ay isang 18-year old na recording artist na lumaki sa United Kingdom. Five years old pa lang siya nang pumunta sa UK with her mom at after eight years nang pamamalagi roon ay nagbalik-Pinas siya.
Ayon nga kay Migz, excited na siyang mai-release ito para mai-promote na ang kanyang mga kanta.
“Opo, excited na akong i-release and i-promote ang songs ko. Three songs po ito and ‘yung carrier single po ay ‘yung Kayo Na Naman Bang Dalawa, which is iyong unang ipino-promote ko po ngayon. The tune and the rhythm has an exciting feel to it despite the lyrics portraying a couple being together at one point, then the girl leaving the guy for another. Actually making the guy that was ghosted, a rebound,” saad ng talent ni Edwin Rosas Visda na si Migz.
Sino ang musical influences niya? “My musical influences are Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Akon, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, O-Town, James Ingram, Michael Pangilinan, Daryl Ong, Morisette Amon, Erik Santos and Gary V.”
Paano siya nag-start as a singer? “Even though I love music and I love to sing, I only sing when I’m by myself. Because I felt insecure of my voice ever since my friends told me that my singing was bad, when I used to just sing for fun. I showed them that I didn’t take their comments seriously but it really gave an impact to me. After that, I didn’t sing in public until almost after two years. My mom pushed me and motivated me to take singing lessons.
“At first, I didn’t have any interest in mind to take singing lessons until I realized that nothing’s going to happen unless I make it happen and that its okay to take risks and failures because failure is the key to striving for greatness and having humility in oneself. That’s what drove me to be motivated to perform and undergo singing lessons. This is what made me today and what will make me a successful artist/performer, God willing in the future,” sambit ni Migz.
