He is already in his mid-forties but Nick Vera Perez doesn’t have any plans of setting down.
Nalilibang kasi siya sa pagtulong sa mga baguhang isinasama niya sa kanyang shows here and abroad kaya medyo nakalilimutan na niyang mag-settle down.
Anyway, last Thursday evening, he had a homecoming presscon that was staged at the Rembrant Hotel.
Malaking papel daw ang ginampanan ng mga press people kaya naisip niyang i-focus naman ang homecoming concert sa mga taong tumulong na maipagpatuloy ang kanyang music career sa Filipinas.
Nick is based right now in Chicago and works as a nurse, while singing on the side.
“I want to honor the press kasi you’ve helped me a lot in my career as a singer,” he said in all sincerity.
“And I never really had the chance to thank you all. So, ngayon it’s really about you, appreciation night ko sa inyo.”
Prior to his appreciation night for the press, his mall tours in connection with the promo of his album “I Am Ready” have been a most successful one. From Cavite city, nakarating siya hanggang sa Zamboanga.
Given the chance, he’d like to stage a concert at the Music Museum.
Sa ngayon, umiikot na raw sila nationwide para sa album promo tour. By next year, he is planning a grand concert, hopefully sa Music Museum in the year May 2020.
