‘Destab plot’ kaduda-duda — Solon

BINATIKOS ni Akbayan Rep. Tom Villarin ang Malacañang at ang hepe ng Philippine National Police kaugnay sa ‘di maka­totohanang pag­ta­ta­tangkang guluhin ang gobyernong Duterte.

Ani Villarin, ang rebe­la­syon ng Malacañang patungkol sa “desta­bilization plot matrix” at ang depensa ni PDG Oscar Albayalde sa istor­yang ito ay nakadududa.

“The matrix has no probative value and should have been dis­missed outright as outlandish and the work of malicious minds. The quick defense of the PNP also shows Albayalde’s unabashed loyalty to President Duterte and not to democracy. How can accusations and criti­cisms of government tantamount to desta­bilization?” ani Villarin.

“The entities and individuals named in the matrix are established and highly respected media organizations and human rights lawyers. By publicly naming them as so-called destabilizers, they become open targets for malicious attacks and possible violence,” babala ni Villarin.

Ang “destabilization plot story” ay lumabas pagkatapos kumalat ang video ng umano’y “real narco-list” na kinasa­sangkutan ng pamilya Duterte na isiniwalat ng isang nagngangalang Bikoy.

“If Malacañang gets peeved by such video, how much more will it react to other stories that are critical of the admi­nistration?” tanong ni Villarin.

Aniya, ang press freedom sa bansa ay nanganganib sa ilalim ng administrasyong Duterte.
