European Union ‘di kombinsido… ‘Junket’ trip vs ‘terror group’ bigo

HINDI nakombinsi ng mga opisyal ng administrasyong Duterte ang Euro­pean Union (EU) na prente ng terrorist organizations ang pinopon­dohan nilang mga grupo sa Filipinas kaya hinimok silang mangalap ng mga dagdag na ebidensiya saka mag­hain ng reklamo.

“They wanted us to provide more (pieces 0f) evidence(s) and then to file the formal complaint because during the time when we went to Europe, we didn’t have the formal — exploratory nga,” sabi ni AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Military Opera­tions B/Gen. Antonio Parlade.

Ani Parlade, nasor­presa ang mga opisyal ng EU nang isiwalat ng Philippine delegation na ang pinopondohan nilang mga organisasyon sa Filipinas ay prente ng terrorist organizations na Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).

Ngunit nangako ang EU na ihihinto ang pag­papadala ng pondo sa mga tinukoy nilang “ter­ror organizations” kapag may matitibay na ebi­densiyang maisu­sumite ang gobyernong Duterte.

“So that’s what we are doing now, we are consolidating all our (pieces of) evidence(s) para i-submit sa Euro­pean Union – and as soon as they have that, they promised to stop this funding,” ani Parlade.

Posible aniyang ma­ga­wa ng legal cooperation group ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Insurgency ang hiniling na dagdag na ebidensiya ng EU sa susunod na buwan.

Kabilang sa tinukoy na prente ng terrorist organizations ng gob­yernong Duterte ang Kilusang Mayo Uno, Ibon Foundation, at Kara­patan.

Bukod kay Parlade naging bahagi rin ng Philippine delegation sina Presidential Task Force on media Security chief Joel Egco, Presidential Human Rights Committee Secre­tariat Undersecretary Severo Catura at PCOO Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy.
