Ariel Rivera at Gelli de Belen, magpapakuwela sa Ang Sikreto Ng Piso

PAGKALIPAS ng 22 taon ay muling magsasama sa pelikula ang real life couple na sina Ariel Rivera at Gelli de Belen bilang husband and wife sa Ang Sikreto Ng Piso. Huling nagsama ang dalawa via Ikaw Pala Ang Mahal Ko noong 1997.

Ang naturang pelikula na pinamahalaan ni Direk Perry Escaño ay isang family-oriented comedy film mula MPJ Entertainment Productions at JPP Dreamworld Productions at showing na sa January 30.

Aminado sina Gelli at Ariel na weird ang pakiramdam na isang comedy film ang comeback movie nila bilang tandem. “It felt weird to work with him again. I had to overcome that feeling while we were doing our scenes together.  Ariel is so sweet and cheesy in this movie.  He’s very different in real life,” saad ni Gelli.

Ayon naman kay Ariel, nasanay na siya sa mga proyektong heavy drama kaya agad niyang tinanggap ang pelikula nang ini-offer sa kanya.

“I’ve been looking for a project that’s light and easy because I’m always given heavy drama or romantic roles. This is a good change for me and I enjoyed it,” saad ng actor/singer.

Dagdag niya, “It’s interesting talaga… ako, nagustuhan ko talaga. Sabi ko sa ABS-CBN, ‘Give me naman a comedic role or something.’ Hindi nila ibinibigay sa akin… Tapos ‘yung story nito, it interested me, iyong tungkol sa piso.”

Anong adjustment ang ginawa ni Ariel sa pagiging dramatic actor sa paggawa ng comedy movie? “It’s my first independent movie and my first comedy movie too, but on television, I’ve worked with some of these comedians before, so I didn’t have to adjust much. Besides, my wife is funny, even off-cam.  She’s so funny when she throws punchlines, especially when you’re not used to her doing it,” aniya pa.

Bahagi rin ng casts ng Ang Sikreto Ng Piso sina Bea Binene, Lou Veloso, Long Mejia, Ricky Rivero, and Beverly Salviejo, also with Wacky Kiray, Joyce Peñas Pilarsky na siyang executive producer ng pelikula, at iba pa.

Mayroong Meet and Greet ang pelikula sa opening day sa January 30 1:00pm sa SM North EDSA, 4:00pm sa SM Manila, 7:00pm at 9:30om sa SM Mall of Asia.
