Tiniyak ng Palasyo: Diokno sisibakin kung sabit sa P75-B budget

TINIYAK ng Palasyo na masisibak si Budget Secretary Benjamin Diok­no kapag napa­tunayan ang alegasyon na sangkot siya sa P75-B insertion sa 2019 national budget.

“Of course we will go to the bottom of this,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.

Ang pahayag ni Panelo ay kaugnay sa isiniwalat ni Camarines Sur Rep. Rolando Anda­ya na si Diokno umano ang nasa likod ng P75-B insertion sa 2019 na­tional budget para pabo­ran ang mga proyektong nakorner ng CT Leoncio Construction dahil sa relasyon ng may-ari nito sa in-laws ng kanyang anak.

Giit ni Panelo, wa­lang “sacred cows” sa administrasyong Duter­te at napatunayan nang ilang beses na kahit malapit sa Pangulo ay sini­sibak sa puwesto ka­pag nadawit sa katiwa­lian.

“Secretary Diokno has already denied any involvement or any link. But let me repeat what we have said repeatedly: this president is no respecter of friendship, of alliances, of party affiliations, of friend­ship. His principle is you follow the law, you violate it – you will account for it. You engage in corrup­tion, then you will be fired,” ani Panelo.

“No sacred cows in this government; as he has already shown repeatedly too many times over,” dagdag ni Panelo.
