Duterte napa-wow sa disaster response ng Israel

JERUSALEM – Napahanga si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Disaster Response and Rehabilitation Presentation dito sa Israel.

Sa nasabing demonstrasyon ng Magen David Adom (MDA), ipinamalas ng rescuers ang kanilang bilis, efficiency at modernong kagamitan sa pagsasagawa ng rescue operations kapag may sakuna gaya ng pagpapasabog.

Sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte, nakare-relate ang Filipinas sa ganitong sitwasyon dahil hindi “exempted” ang bansa sa mga pambobomba gaya ng dalawang magkakasunod na nangyari sa Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

Ayon kay Pangulong Duterte, mahalagang mapagbuti rin sa Filipinas ang rescue operations gaya nang ipinakita ng MDA na “very precise” ang paghawak ng operasyon.

Umaasa  si Pangulong Duterte na tutulong ang Israel sa hangarin ng Filipinas na mapagbuti pa ang kakayahang makatugon nang mabilis at epektibo sa oras ng mga kalamidad o terror attack.

“I would like to thank MDA and this administration for giving us the demonstration. You got it right. The rescue was punctual and I would say that — and precise, the way you handled it. Of course it could have been a product of several practices, but it shows that you are very efficient,” ani Pangulong Duterte.

“There’s a lot of terror attacks going on, not only here but all over the world and my country is no exception. We have — we just had about two explosions in one of the provinces in Mindanao. One day and the day after there was also these two explosions, and we expect more. And I’m sure that your government, Israel government would only be willing to help us.”
