NAGBIRO ang very masculine na si Drew Arellano nang sagutin ang katanungan ng press if he wants to give acting a try just like his colleague Atom Araullo.
“Alam mo, gusto ko nga, e, para magkaroon ako ng comments sa mga director!”
Upon saying that, the movie press present have guffawed in all amusement.
“Pero ang pinakagusto ko talaga,” he went on joking, “na matagal ko na sinasabi sa asawa ko, matagal na, dahil ako palaging host, host, host, sabi ko gusto ko naman magkaroon ng kissing scene… sa kanya… with her.
“Kidding aside, no. Probably, I don’t think they’ll like me.
“Even though they would want me to be part of a film, it’s probably not gonna happen.
“I’m not sure if I can act.”
Looking back, prior to his being a travel show host, Drew has had some exposures with movie acting.
He was able to do the youth oriented movie Click with wife Iya, My First Romance (2003) and Spirit of the Glass (2004).
Anyway, he asseverated turning serious this time that he could not say anything about the gap that existed between Direk Mike and Atom simply because he was not able to follow their story.
Hot copy sa ngayon ang snide commentaries nina Direk Mike at Atom sa isa’t isa in connection with the movie Citizen Jake.
Anyway, the press had a grand time talking with Drew and Iya at the launching of their Season 4 for Home Foodie at GMA Network Center, last June 4.
Sa June 11 na muling mapanonood sa Kapuso Network ang cooking show na ito right after Unang Hirit.
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
BANAT!
