MATUTUNGHAYAN na ngayong Sabado (May 26, 2018) ang first ever solo concert ni Regine Tolentino titled Ignite na gaganapin sa Sky Dome sa SM North EDSA. Hindi dapat palagpasin ang maraming pasabog at exciting production numbers dito na gagawin ng tinaguriang Zumba Queen. Kasama niya rito sina Sheryl Cruz, Patricia Javier, Marissa Sanchez, Madelle Paltuob, Zeus Collins, Jenny Miller, Alyna Velasquez, Ynez Veneracion, Che Che Tolentino, Luningning, Mariposa, Zara Lopez, Cherry Lou, Sheree, Saicy Aguila, Ara Mina, at iba pa.
Tampok dito ang electrifying production numbers choreograph ng magaling na Speed Dancers’ dance director na si Egai Bautista na tampok ang fabulous costumes designed ni Regine and style ni Neil Lorenzo, at mula sa direksiyon ni Dave Fabros.
Kasama sa repertoire ni Regine ang mga kanta at sayaw mula sa hit-making divas at hinahangaan niyang sina Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna, at Britney Spears. Kaya expect some JLo moves rito.
“O yeah, lots of JLo moves, sexy moves na JLo, ‘yung costumes, pausuhin na ulit ang tangga, hahaha! And to really make it a dance concert talaga. I noticed in the industry, ilan lang ‘yung mga artists na talagang sing and dance and so I’d really like to establish myself in that sector, sing and dance na mala JLo talaga,” aniya.
Paano kung sabihan siyang gaya-gaya kay JLo, ano ang kanyang magiging reaction? “Si JLo ang number-one ngayon, talagang ginagaya ko siya to a certain extent. But I always add my own style and flavor, yes, nandodoon pa rin iyong tatak-Regine Tolentino kahit may hawig (sa style) ni Jlo.
“Proud pa ako kahit sabihing gaya-gaya kay JLo, I would love to be associated with her than any other like Beyonce, Lady Gaga… Pero idol ko sila, number one si JLo, number 2 si Lady Gaga, tapos si Beyonce, at si Madonna. Idol ko si JLo because she is smart, she is a good businesswoman, she’s sexy, she’s a single mom like me, she’s very fashionista and she’s always reinventing her looks. Minsan ano siya corporate, very classy, tapos minsan ay hiphop, pa-bagets, pero hindi nawawala iyong class sa kanya. So, gusto kong maano sa kanya.”
Parang women empowerment ba ang theme ng concert mo? Sagot niya, “You can say that but it’s pretty much, sort of a celebration of dance, the launching of my album and it being a fun dance concert as well, so it’s a mix of all of the things that I’ve done in my career and my inspirations,” esplika ng talented na si Regine.
Ang Ignite concert ay dadalhin din sa Japan para ibahagi ang galing at talento ni Regine sa pagsayaw at pagkanta.
