SUPORTADO ng Palasyo ang pasya ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na suspendihin nang isang buwan ang Uber Transport Systems, isang transport network company, sa kabila ng pagtutol ng commuters.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, dapat kagyat na lutasin ng Uber at LTFRB ang kanilang problema upang hindi maapektohan nang husto ang mga pasahero.
“We will leave that to the DOTr (Department of Transportation). But however, regarding the Uber matter, we said we do empathize with the traveling public. It affects everyone, including us at times,” aniya.
Ang LTFRB ay attached agency ng DOTr.
“On the other hand, that’s exactly why we wish that the LTFRB and the Uber situation should be — should be completed as soon as possible. It should be addressed and it should be resolved as soon as possible,” giit ni Abella.
Ang pagsuspendi ng LTFRB sa Uber ay nag-ugat sa patuloy na pagtanggap nito ng dagdag na accreditation para sa bago at aktibong accounts.
