MARJORIE Barretto was greatly affected by a netizen’s accusation that she is a neglectful mom.

Sa comments section, it was obvious that Marjorie’s agitated by the basher’s ‘malicious comment.’

Iniintriga ng basher ang hindi pagsama ni Marjorie sa anak na si Dani Barretto nang magtungo sa emergency room ng isang ospital noong nakaraang linggo.

Dani is Kier Legaspi’s daughter with Marjorie.

“@shalil011 Let me correct you there. Dani was not hospitalized. She was at the ER for a consultation on something minor,” she asseverates. “By the time I was informed, she was already ready to leave.

“They only prescribed antibiotics for her. I was in touch with her while she was there.”

Banat ni Marjorie sa netizen, “I resent how malicious your comment is.”

She went on obviously still affected by the basher’s commentaries.

“Please question anything else about me, but not how I am as a Mom. You have no idea how much I love all of them. And I am there for ALL the children especially when they need me. And I will continue to be there even when they don’t need me to be. I take my role very seriously.”

Her supporters have advised Marjorie not to mind the basher’s nasty comments.

Anyway, marami ang nagpapalagay na may ‘something’ talaga sa pagitan ng mag-ina.

Nevertheless, Dani defended her mom against the basher’s supposedly “non-sense assumptions.”

“The most enduring person is the one that stays on top for quite a while. Hindi ‘yung sikat ka ngayon, ngayon sikat na sikat na sikat ka, tapos after two years, ‘Whatever happened to that woman? Whatever happened to that guy?’

“So it’s how you stay on top and how long will you be there.

“The longevity is very important.”

Masa-shock ka talaga once na malaman mong 79 years old na si Manay at more than 50 years na siyang artista.

Prior to her appearance in Haplos, she starred in Because of You in 2016 that featured the tandem of Carla Abellana and Gabby Concepcion.

“Then I left for Australia because I have a son who’s a doctor in Australia. I was there for about three-four months.”

Ikakasal na raw ang kanyang doktor na anak sometime next year.

Anyway, Haplos is being starred in by Sanya Lopez, Thea Tolentino, Pancho Magno and Rocco Nacino in the role of Gerald Cortez.

Part din ng cast ng Haplos sina Patricia Javier, Emilio Garcia, Francine Prieto, at Diva Montelaba bilang Wendy Reyes.

Anyhow, since Darna is in vogue once again these days, maalalang Valentina ang role ni Manay sa Lipad, Darna, Lipad featuring Vilma Santos in the title role.

“I was the first to reprise (the role of) Valentina after Cristina Aragon, hindi pa ako artista noon, with Rosa del Rosario as Darna.

“Then I made Darna Kuno with Dolphy, that’s a spoof, Lotis Key was the Darna. Hindi ako Valentina roon, from outer space na ang laki-laki ng ulo, naghahasik ako ng lagim.

“Yung pangatlo kong Darna kay Angel Locsin, actually hindi ako Valentina roon, I was the head of all the contravidas including Valentina.”

In the year 2005 she delineated the role of Braguda with Angel Locsin as Darna.

“Ako (as Braguda) ang nag-develop kay Valentina, played by Alessandra de Rossi.”

Her fourth Darna was the one delineated by Marian Rivera in the year 2009. She essayed the role of Perfecta who was in charge of the bahay ampunan.
