Duterte handa sa Writ of Habeas Corpus

HINOG na ang situwasyon para suspendihin ang writ of habeas corpus.

Ito ang ipinahiwatig ng Pangulo kahapon sa kanyang talumpati sa ika-80 anibersaryo ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ilang araw matapos magbabala na maaari niyang suspendihin ang writ of habeas corpus.

Nakasaad sa Article VII Section 18 ng Saligang Batas na puwedeng suspendihin ng Pangulo ang writ kapag may “invasion, rebellion, when the public safety requires it.”

Anang Pangulo, malakas ang rebelyon sa Mindanao, aktibo ang mga terorista sa Jolo, may insidente ng kidnapping araw-araw na nagdudulot ng kahihiyan sa ating bansa at tila malakas na sampal sa imahe natin sa ibang bansa.

“We have a very strong rebellion in Mindanao, terrorists in Jolo, Sulu, kidnapping people almost everyday, putting a shame to our country. Every time they do it, they slap us, internationally,” anang Pangulo

Kailangan aniyang paghandaan ang pagdating sa Filipinas ng mga terorista mula sa Gitnang Silangan , mga nilalang na walang kinikilalang karapatang pantao.

“But we have to prepare for it, because once the terrorists of the Middle East are the pride of the land area, a real estate were they can sleep, stand on, or just simply sit down, they would wander to other places and they will come here, and we have to prepare for that. Remember, these guys, they do not have an iota of what a human right is, believe me,” aniya.

Tiniyak ng Pangulo na hindi siya basta uupo na lang at hahayaan ang mga Filipino na katayin at sirain ang bansa para lang umiwas sa batikos ng human rights advocates.

“So we will have a calibrated thing here. I will not just sit down and allow my people to be slaughtered, for the sake of human rights. That’s b****. That’s b*****. My response be would always a calibrated to what we are facing — to destroy the Filipino nation,” aniya.

Nang magpulong sila aniya ni President Joko Widodo ng Indonesia at Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak ay tinalakay nila ang paglaban sa terorismo ngunit hindi niya puwedeng ilahad ang mga detalye.

“I’ve been to Indonesia to talk with President Widodo. I just came back from Malaysia and we have agreed and our people are talking now. I am not at liberty to tell you, what is — what it is all about, but it means fighting terrorism, terrorism,” giit niya.
