Tagumpay ni Trump hangad ni Duterte

UMAASA si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magtatagumpay ang apat na taon administrasyon ni US president-elect Donald Trump at makipagtulungan para maisulong ang relasyong Filipinas-Amerika na nakaangkla sa respeto’t benepisyo ng isa’t isa at magkasama sa commitment para sa demokratikong kaisipan at rule of law.

“President Duterte wishes President-elect Trump success in the next four years as Chief Executive and commander-in chief of the U.S. military, and looks forward to working with the incoming administration for enhanced Philippines-US relations anchored on mutual respect, mutual benefit and shared commitment to democratic ideals and the rule of law,” ayon sa pahayag ni Communications Secretary Martin Andanar kahapon.

Ipinaabot ni Pangulong Duterte ang pagbati sa tagumpay ni Trump bilang bagong pangulo ng Estados Unidos kahapon ilang minuto makaraan ideklara ang pagwawagi laban kay Democrat presidential bet Hillary Clinton.

Ang halalan aniya sa Amerika ay isang patunay sa mga umiiral na tradisyon sa ilalim ng sistemang demokartiko at sa paraan ng pamumuhay ng mga Amerikano.

Ang two-party system aniya ang nagbibigay sa mga botanteng Amerikano ng kalayaan sa pagpili base sa plataporma ng partido at hindi sa mga personalidad.

“The United States presidential elections is a testament to the enduring traditions of its democratic system and the American way of life. The  two-party system gives American voters freedom of choice based on party platforms, not just on personalities,” ani Andanar.
