Misuari pabor sa kapayapaan sa Mindanao (Suportado si Duterte)

MATAPOS ang tatlong taon na pagtatago sa batas ay lumantad na kahapon mula sa kanyang lungga sa Jolo, Sulu si Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari, nagpunta sa Palasyo at nakipagpulong kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte upang magkatuwang na isulong ang kapayapaan sa Mindanao.

Sinundo kahapon ng umaga ni Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza si Misuari sa Jolo at dinala sa Malacañang para makausap si Pangulong Duterte.

Sa kanyang talumpati sa press briefing sa Palasyo ay pinasalamatan ni Pangulong Duterte si Misuari sa pagpapaunlak sa kanyang imbitasyon matapos niyang iutos na pansamantalang ipawalang-bisa ang warrant of arrest sa Moro leader na akusado sa kasong rebellion bunsod ng Zamboanga siege noong 2013.

“It is with great happiness that I announce to the nation that Chairman Nur Misuari, our brother who heads the MNLF, has finally decided to just accept my invitation for him to talk to us. He has obliged and we are very grateful. Secretary Dureza just did the legwork and all. He was able to pave the way for Chairman Nur to come here, I said, upon my invitation,” anang Pangulo.

Tiniyak nag Pangulo na wala siyang intensiyon na alisin ang kalayaan ng Moro leader at ipinagmalaki na sa harap ng mga Amerikano ay isinumbat niya ang mga inutang na dugo sa lahing Moro at sa ibang parte ng bansa nang sakupin ng US ang Filipinas.

“You know brother Nur, this is not really to pull my own chair. But when I was talking to a lot of the Americans and I said, and I reminded of the several massacres, not only in Jolo but in Samar, the belfry, the bell that was from the church there was taken out by the Americans and because one colonel died there, an American. Every male, ten years and above, it’s cut off also,” aniya.

Upang maipakita ang kanyang sinseridad sa paghimok kay Misuari na makipagtulungan sa kanyang administrasyon ay pinahintulutan ng Pangulo ang Moro leader na magtalumpati sa podium sa Palasyo na ginagamit lamang ng Presidente ng Filipinas.

“So we would like to ask that we work together with our Moro brothers and create a country that is really, that is just and that is good and that would be for the next generations to come,” anang Pangulo.

“May I ask you to just give a short talk using the podium of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. May I? Chairman, brother Nur?” sabi ng Pangulo nang ipakilala si Misuari.

Sa kanyang speech ay ikinuwento ni Misuari, ugat ng rebelyon ng MNLF ang Jabidah massacre o ang pagpatay sa mga Moro na sumailalim sa military training sa Corregidor, Bataan noong dekada ‘60.

Wala aniyang nakuhang hustisya ang mga Moro mula noong panahon ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos hanggang sa administrasyong Aquino na inakusahan siyang utak ng Zamboanga siege.

Giit ni Misuari, tiwala siya na ang liderato ni Pangulong Duterte ang magbibigay ng ganap na kapayapaan sa Mindanao at kumilos siya para labanan ang teroristang Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) nang pakiusapan ng Punong Ehekutibo.

“And now I came here, foremost in my mind is how can we help our President finish his job through to the end of his six-year term. Because I know for a fact, he will not abandon his pledge to the people. He said, I’ll give you peace, peace in Mindanao. Is that so Mr. President? So I support him for that. When he said, brother Nur why don’t you move against the Abu Sayyaf? So I started moving,” ani Misuari.

Naglabas ng hinanakit sa media at sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) si Misuari na aniya’y nagbabaluktot ng katotohanan hinggil sa release ng hostages ng ASG sa kanilang grupo.

“I want people to be truthful about things. If you want us to be fair with you, you want us to deal with you, please be fair with us, just tell the truth, simple truth,” sabi ni Misuari.

Binigyang-diin ni Misuari ang kanyang suporta sa kampanya ni Pangulong Duterte kontra illegal drugs dahil tulad ng punong ehekutibo ay naniniwala siya na sinisira nito ang kinabukasan ng susunod na henerasyon at pangunahing ugat ng krimen laban sa sangkatauhan.

“Everytime I finish my prayers in the morning, morning prayers, I go to the balcony of my humble house, overlooking the highway, in Jolo. Everytime I see people, young people, in the prime of their life, walking like insane people. I say what’s the cause? Drugs.They are destroying our children, our youths. Who will succeed us after this, when our citizens are already destroyed by these drugs? To us, I’ve always been saying that drug is a restless creeping threat to humanity. International organization is spreading billions and billions and produce no result at all. This is biggest, one of the biggest source of crimes to humanity, these drugs,” aniya pa.

“Just allow me to reiterate my sense of gratitude to the President and I promise that should he need our cooperation in his campaign for peace, you can count on us, Mr. President,” pagwawakas ni Misuari.

Hindi tinukoy ng Palasyo kung ilang araw mananatili si Misuari sa Maynila.

ARREST WARRANT VS MISUARI
SINUSPINDE NG PASIG RTC

HINDI muna ipatutupad ang utos ng mababang hukuman sa Pasig City na pag-aresto kay MNLF founding Chair Nur Misuari.

Ito ang utos na ipinalabas ni Pasig RTC Branch 158 Judge Maria Rowena San Pedro.

Kasabay nito, sinuspinde ng hukuman ang pag-usad ng paglilitis sa kasong kinakaharap ni Misuari na nag-ugat sa insidente noong Setyembre 2013 na binansagang Zamboanga Seige.

Si Misuari ay nahaharap sa kasong rebelyon at paglabag sa International Humanitarian Law.

Dahil sa kautusang ito ng Pasig RTC, inatasan ang pambansang pulisya, AFP, National Bureau of Investigation at iba pang law enforcement agencies na huwag munang ipatupad ang mandamyento de aresto laban kay Misuari.

Tatagal ang “suspension of proceedings” at ang suspensiyon sa pagpapatupad ng warrants of arrest sa loob ng anim buwan maliban kung ito ay babawiin nang mas maaga ng korte.

Nag-ugat ang kautusan ng mababang hukuman sa inihaing mosyon ng kampo ni Misuari na sinuportahan ng Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process at ng Department of Justice.

Ito ay para bigyang-daan ang usapang pangkapayapaan ng gobyerno at ng MNLF.
