Mahusay nang aktres si Kathryn Bernardo kaya naman nagulat si Direk Olivia Lamasan sa super pleasant metamorphosis ni Daniel Padilla.
Honestly, na feel daw niyang he has the makings of a very good actor. Something in the mold of an Aga Muhlach who has emerged as a very good actor in his time.
No wonder, Lea Salonga has always looked forward to doing a movie with him.
In the same mold, nakita ni Direk Olive Olive Lamasan ang matinding promise ni Daniel. Lagi raw itong attentive sa kanyang mga sina-sabi and is a most lenient student.
Si Kathryn Bernardo, the multi-awarded director says, that they took some look test of her two weeks before they left for Barcelona.
She wants to make her look real. Tanggalin ang supposed pagka-perky niya.
Si Daniel, “I find him to be a very intelligent guy. Ang talino ng batang ito. He lives through a lot of pain.”
Kung nu’ng magsimula raw sila ay tipong mga inexperienced actors pa sina Kathryn at Daniel, after the movie has been finished, they became actors. “Actors na sila,” Direk Olive intones. “We have achieved the objective. Sabi nga ni Daniel, ‘Kailangang aralin. Nga-
yon ko lang naintindihan ang craft ko.’”
Sabi pa ni Direk Olive, happy raw siya to share with Daniel and Kathryn what she knew.
“Kung hindi nila pagbubutihin, masasayang ang huge expenses ng Star Cinema,” avers the multi-awarded director.
“Imagine,” she further asseverates,”the production spends no less than 1.5 million a day, sasayangin ba naman nila ‘yun?”
Dati, ang hilig daw nina Daniel at Kathryn na mag-adlid. According to Direk Olive, “You change a preposition, you change the context of the sentence.”
Dati, hirap daw talagang mag-memorize ng long dialogs sina Daniel. Ang sabi naman ni Direk Olive, “I-deliver mo. Artista ka!”
Palabas na nga pala ang Barcelona sa mga sinehan all over the country.
