Sapat na power supply sa Luzon tiniyak ng DoE

TINIYAK ng Malacañang na nakatutok ang Department of Energy (DoE) sa power situation sa Luzon.

Una rito, inilagay ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang Luzon grid sa Yellow Alert dahil sa manipis na power reserves kasunod ng ‘outages’ ng ilang power plants.

Sinabi ni Communications Sec. Sonny Coloma, nakikipag-ugnayan ang DoE sa power stakeholders para maiwasan ang malawakang power disruption.

Ayon kay Coloma, tinitiyak ng DoE na magiging sapat ang power supply sa Luzon lalo sa peak hours.

“DOE is monitoring the situation and working with power sector stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption of service,” ani Coloma.
