FM, Jr. nagluluksa sa pagpanaw ni dating DFA chief Del Rosario

NAGPAHAYAG ng dalamhati si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa pagpanaw ni dating Foreign Affairs secretary Albert del Rosario.

Si Del Rosario, na tinukoy ni Marcos Jr. bilang “an honorable diplomat and an esteemed public servant,” ay nasawi kahapon sa edad na 83 taong gulang.

“I join the entire nation in mourning the passing of former Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario, an honorable diplomat and an esteemed public servant,”anang Pangulo sa isang kalatas.

“I extend my deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of Secretary del Rosario, who was known for his patriotism and integrity. We thank his deep commitment to our national interest and his unwavering devotion to our shared values,” dagdag niya.

Pinangunahan ni Del Rosario ang pagsasampa ng arbitration case  ng bansa laban sa China kaugnay sa West Philippine Sea noong 2013 at ang desisyon ay pumabor sa Filipinas. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
