Julia takot gumawa ng horror film

INAMIN ni Julia Barretto na hindi siya komportableng gumawa ng horror film kaya hindi siya gumagawa nito.

Sa virtual media conference ng Bahay Na Pula na idinirehe ni Brillante Mendoza at pinagbibidahan din nina Marco Gumabao at Xian Lim na mapapanood na sa February 25, sinabi ni Julia kay direk Brillante nang i-pitch sa kanya ang project, “what if takot ako baka may sumunod sa akin after or baka may magparamdam sa set?

Takot talagang gumawa ng horror si Julia.

“Kasi I remember when my tita did a thriller/suspense I think it was caught on camera na may nangyari yata sa kanya. So, eversince kaya natakot na ako sa horror noon. 

“But I really wanted to do the project, that’s why I went on. And ang promise naman ni Direk while were shooting it, hindi naman siya ganoon ka-scary when you’re watching the film and true enough I always had my rosary with me. ‘Yun na lang ang pinanghawakan ko,” sambit ni Julia.

Sinabi pa ni Julia na, “It’s going out of my comfort zone. And this is my first horror film. And second what the film asked of me. At the end of the day it’s about trusting your director and trusting yourself. And I think the reason why I trusted myself in the process of creating this film is because everybody in the set trusted me so I think isa ‘yung malaking factor kung bakit nagawa namin ‘yung mga kailangan naming gawin. At the end of the day it’s all about growing and learning and trusting.”
