ALIW na aliw kami sa ibinigay na dahilan ni Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez kung bakit hindi na siya kumakain ng chicken. Kaibigan na kasi niya ang mga ito.
Sa pakikipagtsikahan namin kay Lucy kahapon ng tanghali, natanong si Lucy sa sikreto nito na napapanatili ang kagandahan.
“There are no secrets really,” panimula ni Lucy. “I think I can just attribute to the fact that maybe five years ago I became really very mindful not so much about what I put on my face or it was more about what I was eating. What I was really put in my body,” esplika ng magandang maybahay ni Goma.
So ano nga ba ang kinakain ni Lucy?
“Five years ago I transition into a more healthy way of eating. Not to say na I don’t eat anymore lechon, or chicharon bulaklak or spam, I still do.
“I don’t eat chicken na. Eversince the lockdown, when I got back March of 2020 noong simula ng kasagsagan ng Covid, I had to quarantine for two weeks. I had to isolate for two weeks, so every afternoon I go under the sun with the book. And then, kasama ko iyong mga manok na alaga ni Richard.
“Ito kasing si Richard when he became mayor we live apart. He was based here and I was based in Manila. And we have a big space here in the province. He started with two turtles na pagala-gala lang and then everytime I come home over the weekend, there will be more animals. May mga manok na then may ganza, then may turkey, and then may bees, and then ‘yung aso. And then may baboy.
“We’re like ano here, animal kingdom, nakakatuwa, kasi lahat sila nagkakasundo,” aliw na kuwento pa ni Congw. Lucy.
Ikinatutuwa rin ni Lucy na lahat ng pagkain sa probinsiya nila ay fresh at ipinagmalaki ring mahilig si Richard sa pagtatanim.
Samantala ukol naman sa politika, natanong din ang misis ni Richard Gomez ukol sa reaction nito nang mabalitang ikinokonsidera siyang maisama sa tiket nina Ping Lacson at Tito Sotto sa 2022 election.
“I’m very thankful should I decide to run, somebody is willing to adopt me in their slate and in the past naman Tito Sen and Sen. Ping we had the same stand on several issues. I’m thankful siyempre kung sino man ang mag-adopt na slate para tumakbo sa senado is a blessings. And very thankful to the duo of Tito Sen and Sen. Lacson,” ani Congw Lucy.
Pero nilinaw niyang wala pa siyang desisyon kung tatakbo nga siya bilang Senador. Ang tiyak, ang kanyang asawang si Goma ang tatakbo bilang representante o papalit sa puwestong maiiwan niya.
Aniya, “I never said na I definitely running for senate, it’s an option that is being considered. I’m weighing my options, but I haven’t decided whether I’ll be running for senate or not.”
