1.5-M doses ng bakuna inihatid mula China (13-M doses inilipad ng Cebu Pac mula Abril 2021)

LIGTAS na naihatid ng Cebu Pacific ang bagong batch ng 1.5 milyong doses ng Sinovac vaccines na binili ng pamahalaan nitong Huwebes, 22 Hulyo, sakay ng flight 5J 671 mula sa Beijing, China.

“We are grateful to Cebu Pacific and other carriers for their continuous support in the safe delivery of these vaccines. With this steady supply coming in, we can truly accelerate our vaccination program,” pahayag ni Sec. Carlito Galvez, Jr., chief implementer ng National Task Force Against CoVid-19.

Ang mga dumating na bakuna ay inilagak sa temperature-controlled refrigerated containers, at masusing ininspeksiyon ng mga awtoridad bago ilipat sa mga cold storage vans at mga pasilidad.

Sa loob ng isang linggo, nakapaghatid din ang Cebu Pacific ng 640,000 vaccine doses ng Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Gamaleya Sputnik V, at Johnson & Johnson sa ilang mga lalawigan sa bansa mula sa Maynila.

Sa kasalukuyan, nailipad ng Cebu Pacific ang higit sa 13 milyong CoVid-19 vaccine doses mula China patungong Maynila, at 3.8 milyong doses sa 21 lalawigan.

Ang Cebu Pacific ang may pinakamalawak na domestic network sa bansa na mayroong 32 destinasyon, kabilang ang anim nitong biyaheng internasyonal.

Isa sa pinakabata sa buong mundo, kabilang sa 75-strong fleet nito ang dalawang ATR freighter at isang A330 freighter. (KARLA LORENA OROZCO)
