Huwag padalos-dalos sa Ivermectin — solon

SA KABILA ng malawakang debate sa paggamit ng Ivermectin bilang gamot sa CoVid-19, nanawagan si Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Alfredo Garbin na maging mahinahon at magtimpi muna sa paggamit ng gamot na Ivermectin.

Ayon kay Garbin, mura nga ang Ivermectin pero maraming espekulasyon sa paggamit nito.

Ani Garbin, ang dapat na pagtuunan ng pansin ay ang rollout ng bakuna, ang protocol sa CoVid-19 at ang ayuda ng gobyerno.

“If we control the spread of the virus, then there will be no need for a cure, there will be no need for hospital beds, there will be no need for further lockdowns,” ani Garbin.

“If assistance is given to those who needs it, then they will not be forced to risk their lives by finding work to put food on the table while we are under ECQ. Desperation will be avoided and conspiracies, speculations and opinions will be ignored,” paliwanag ni Garbin.

Aniya, bakuna, health protocols at ayuda ang solusyon hindi ang espekula­syon at opinyon.

Kailangan umanong hintayin ang pasya ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa Ivermectin.

“Conspiracies, speculations and opinions will not help. All that we hear about Ivermectin are just speculations, absent credible studies by our experts,” aniya.

Sinabi ni Garbin ang kanyang pahayag matapos kumalat sa social media ang, umano’y bisa ng Ivermectin sa pagpuksa ng CoVid-19 habang ipinamimigay ito ng isang grupo sa Quezon City kasama ang isang kongresista.

“Let us allow our experts to do their job. Studying the effects of certain proposed medications is not something that can be rushed even when we are in a pandemic. Our experts need to make sure that the proposed medication is really a cure and will not pose as added danger to the health of the public,” diin ni Garbin.

“Alam ko, maganda ang hangarin ng mga proponent ng Ivermectin pero kailangan pa rin itong idaan sa tamang paraan upang siguraduhing ito nga ay solusyon at hindi panibagong problema,” apela ng kongresista ng Ako Bicol.

Gayonman, hindi pinalag­pas ni Anakalusugan Rep. Mike Defensor ang pananaw ni Garbin.

Ayon kay Defensor, hindi patas si Garbin sa pagsasabing ang basehan ng mga nagtutulak ng Ivermectin ay mula sa espekulasyon at conspiracy.
