Navotas nagbigay ng computers P200K cash prizes (Sa selebrasyon ng Teachers’ Day)

SA SELEBRASYON ng Navotas Teachers’ Day, nagbigay ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ng mga computers at gave away na P200,000 cash prizes sa public at private school teachers.

Nasa 123 master teachers ang nakatanggap ng laptop computers at 24 public elementary at high schools ang nakakuha bawat isa ng desktop unit each.

Ang Navotas Science High School ay nakatanggap din ng 24 desktop computers para sa kanilang computer laboratory.

Ipinahayag ni Mayor Toby Tiangco ang kanyang pagpapahalaga sa mga guro ng lungsod at iba pang school personnel.

“We are fortunate to have educators who go beyond their duty to ensure that our youth get the best education, whatever the circumstances are. Indeed, they are our modern-day heroes,” aniya.

“Though we cannot be with them personally, we hope this online celebration will make them feel how much we appreciate them,” dagdag niya.

Samantala, pinuri rin ni Congressman John Rey Tiangco ang mga tagapagturo ng lungsod dahil sa kanilang pagtitiyaga at masipag na pagdidisenyo sa pagpapatupad ng NavoSchool blended learning model.

“Navotas gained national limelight because of our NavoSchool-in-a-box. Our model showed that with or without the pandemic, learning must continue,” aniya.

Bukod sa computers, nagbigay din ang Tiangco brothers ng gave away na P200,000 cash prizes. 50 teachers ang nanalo ng tig-P500; 50 ang tig-P1,000; 20, ang tig-P2,000; 5, ang tig-P3,000 at isa ang nagwagi ng P10,000.
