Ex-PGMA may bagong puwesto sa Duterte admin  

HINDI natuloy ang pagreretiro ni dating Pangulo at dating Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sa public service dahil tinanggap niya ang bagong puwesto sa administrasyong Duterte na may “kompensasyon na piso sa loob ng isang taon.”

Nanumpa kahapon si Arroyo bilang Presidential Adviser on Clark Flagship Programs and Projects at pangunahing tungkulin niya ang tulungan ang administrasyon na magplano at ipatupad ang mga programa at proyekto upang maging susunod na “premier metropolis of Asia” ang Clark.

“We confirm that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has signed the appointment of former President and former Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as Presidential Adviser on Clark Flagship Programs and Projects, with compensation rate of One Peso (P1.00) per annum, on November 24, 2020,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa isang kalatas.

“PA Arroyo’s wisdom and her vast experience as a former head of state and head of government, coupled with her great concern in her native Pampanga, would be valuable as she would assist the Administration in the planning and execution of programs and projects to turn Clark as the next premier metropolis of Asia,” dagdag niya.

Hindi malinaw kung makikialam pa si Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) President at CoVid-19 testing czar Vince Dizon sa Clark.

Matatandaan, sinampahan ng reklamong graft at malversation sa Office of the Ombudsman sina Dizon,  Government Corporate Counsel Elpidio Vega, at Isaac David, ang director ng Malaysian firm MTD Capital Berhad – ang katuwang ng BCDA sa joint venture agreement sa itinayong P11-billion New Clark sports hub sa Capas, Tarlac.
