PUMANAW na kahapon ng tanghali, Nobyembre 15 ang daddy ni Ice Seguerra, si G. Dick Seguerra sa sakit na kanser.
Noong Marso lang isinapubliko ng mang-aawit ang sakit ng ama na dumaan sa radiation dahil sa prostate cancer.
Caption ng larawang ipinost ni Ice sa kanyang IG account, “Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our beloved, Decoroso “Dick” Seguerra. Umakyat na siya sa heaven bandang tanghali ngayong Nov. 15, 2020 para makipag videoke kina Matt Monroe at Frank Sinatra.
“An awesome father, husband, brother, lolo, friend, leader; he has touched many lives by his kindness, gentle support and most of all, his sense of humor.
“We will post details of his wake as soon as we have finalized the details.
“Thank you for all your prayers, good thoughts, and deeds that you’ve shown our family.
“Makakapahinga ka na, OG Pogi. No more pain.
“We love you always and forever, Daddy.”

Nitong Oktubre 30 ay binedisyonan na ng pari ang daddy ni Ice base sa post ni Ice, “Namu Amida Butsu!
“My heart is full of love and joy in these moments I get to spend time with my dad. He is nearing the end of his life but it is a life well lived. He knows he is loved by his family and friends.
“Tinawag niya kaming lahat nung isang araw, handa na raw siya. He talked to all of us, with so much love and gratitude. Pagkatapos nun, ang sabi niya sa aming lahat, “masaya ako”. At masaya rin kami dahil wala kaming ibang hangad kundi maramdaman niya ang kaligayahan. He deserves that.
“At this moment, we’re making beautiful memories together. Walang patid na tawanan, kwentuhan, kantahan at siyempre minsan may iyakan. Pero magkakasama kami. At iyon ang pinakamagandang regalo sa aming lahat. We’re spending our happiest days, together.
