AMINADO ang multi-talented na si Regine Tolentino na sobra siyang inspirado ngayon sa kanyang career. Ayon sa Dance Diva at Zumba Queen, tinututukan din niya ngayon ang pagiging recording artist matapos manalo sa Star Awards For Music ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC). Pinarangalan ng 2018 Dance Album of the Year ang kanyang debut album na Moving To The Music under Viva Records.
Pahayag ni Regine, “Sobrang inspired talaga ako, ang goal ko ay maging total performer. Kaya thankful talaga ako sa PMPC for recognizing my effort. Because sobrang ganado at inspirado ako from this whole experience in launching myself as a total performer now, rather than just a dancer dati… ngayon I can sing and dance.
“Itotodo ko na talaga… as a matter of fact, I went to the office of Viva and they are going to be producing me another single, shoot me another music video, and a new dance show. Ilalabas po nila ‘yung Ignite concert ko sa PBO very soon.”
Natuwa rin si Regine dahil ang daming pumuri sa kanyang ginawang astig at pasabog na production number sa awards night noong September 9 sa Resorts Wolrd Manila. Pinuri rin pati ang kanyang isinuot na gown lalo na ang very sexy at sobrang habang slit sa gown niya nang tanggapin ang kanyang award.
Ibalita rin niya ang iba pang big projects na gagawin, sobrang busy nga ni Ms. Regine hanggang next year. “Sa October 6 mayroon pong ZStar Ball Greatest Show sa Crowne Plaza. This is for all the professional dancers na Pinoy here in the Philippines and also abroad. This is our fourth year. It’s like the Star Magic Ball na may red carpet at naka-gown and formal wear po lahat. It’s also a fashion show, dance concert, and may pageant for Mr. and Ms. Dance Fitness Philippines.
“Then, iyong upcoming activities, ‘yung Zumba Cruise happening in December 2-6. Dance concert naman on the sea going to Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Tapos po next year very exciting, ngayon pa lang ay ise-share ko na sa inyo that we will be having “Shall We Dance” dance concert. If you remember the show with Ms. Lucy Torres-Gomez and celebrities in the professional ballroom dance. We’ll have a big show like that sometime next year, as well as the 20th anniversary ng Regine’s Boutique.
“Na-open po ‘yung boutique ko noong 1999 and it’s been 20 years. So, lahat ng mga artistang binihisan ko through out the years as well ‘yung ginawa po namin ng gowns, costumes sa cosplay at pangsayaw iso-showcase po natin sa isang grand fashion show. Tapos po Ignite is gonna go on tour sa Canada, sa US, and here in the Philippines. We’ll start off in December sa Ormoc and we’re going to different cities like Cebu, Davao and GenSan.
