Special Feature Section at Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition kasali sa PPP

MATAGUMPAY na nairaos ang pagpapahayag ng walong pelikulang kalahok sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2018 noong Lunes na ginanap sa Sequoia Hotel. Magsisimula ang pestibal sa August 15 hanggang  21 at mapapanood ito nationwide.

Ang mga pelikulang kasama sa PPP ay ang Ang Babaing Allergic Sa Wifi ng The IdealFirst Company ni Jun Robles Lana; Bakwit Boys ni Jason Paul Laxamana ng T. Rex Entertainment, Madilim Ang Gabi  ni Adolf Alix, Jr. ng Deus Lux Mea Films; Pinay Beauty ni Jay Abello ng Quantum Films at Epic Media; Signal Rock ni Chito Rono ng Cape Sign Rock (CSR) Film PH; The Day After Valentine’s ni Jason Paul Laxamana ng Viva Films; Unli Life ni Miko Livelo ng Regal Entertainment, Inc; at We Will Not Die Tonight ni Richard Somes ng Strawdogs Studio Productions.

Masaya si Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Chair Liza Dino sa taong ito dahil sa maraming film maker ang nag-submit ng entries.

Aniya, “We are proud that this year, we got to showcase more films of different and elevated genres that will not just entertain but it will encourage discussions among the Filipino audience. There’s a film for everyone and we are looking forward to every one’s support again to all our films.”

Sa pestibal, magkakaroon din ng mula sa mga independent films noong nakaraang taon. Kasali rin dito ang short films sa pamamagitan ng Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition.
