Clothing allowance ng gov’t workers itinaas ng DBM

ANG yearly uniform and clothing allowance ng mga kawani ng gobyerno ay tinaasan ng P1,000 ngayong taon, ayon sa ulat ng Department of Budget and Management nitong Miyerkoles.

“We have increased uniform and clothing allowance of all national government agencies employees from the current P5,000 to P6,000,” pahayag ni Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno sa ginanap na breakfast forum sa Maynila.

“For the longest time the uniform allowance of a government employee has been set at P5,000 yearly, so we think it is time to increase it,” ayon kay Diokno.

Sinabi ng Budget chief, P1.12 bilyon ang inilaan sa ilalim ng 2018 National Budget para sa nasabing dagdag benepisyo, kaya umaabot na sa P6.71 bilyon ang total budget para sa uniform allowance, sa ilalim ng mischellaneous benefits fund
