PIOLO Pascual is one of the producers responsible for the hit indie movie Kita Kita which starred Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy, now considered as the biggest grossing indie film earning no less than P320 million in the box office.
“Masaya, but in a way it’s scary because ano ang susunod?” he said a bit perturbed.
“Naka-jackpot tayo, mas maganda rin na i-value natin ‘yung sinabi ng mga tao it’s not about the budget, it’s about the quality of the film. Sobra ‘yung learning in terms of how we put up a content, kasi ‘yung mga tao are more supportive nowadays and watchful sa mga ginagawa mo.” It’s just a matter of giving them chance to prove their worth.
Namely, sina Gerald Anderson at Vhong Navarro. “I was talking to Jake and Gerald… Ang sarap lang na when you have not necessarily an ownership but ‘yung project na ginagawa mo, may kasamang investment.
“Give them the chance to produce and learn from it.”
Anyway, pinakaaabangan ang movie nina Piolo at Toni Gonzaga na Last Night under Joyce Bernal’s direction.
Si Bela Padilla ang sumulat nito and this a reunion project of Piolo and Toni since Starting Over Again which earned a whopping P410 million at the box office.
“First parang nagwo-worry kami, paano mo ita-top ‘yung last movie namin, ‘di ba?” Piolo averred.
“When Tin (Toni) and I read the script, right away we said ‘yes’ and we made sure na kami ang gagawa.”
May changes ba siyang napuna kay Toni?
“All positive naman, all good, reserved pa rin naman si Tin,” he interjected.
Apart from this project, Piolo is about to start taping this September 2017 for his teleserye with Arci Muñoz.
Kasama nila rito ang Al-Empoy love team nina Alessandra at Empoy.
IAN VENERACION,
FLATTERED NA
PINAG-AAGAWAN
NINA BEA AT IZA!
Hunk actor Ian Veneracion asseverated that he find’s it ego-boosting when Bea Alonzo and Iza Calzado would quarrel over him in ABS-CBN’s primetime series, A Love To Last.
Ta’s alam kong ako ‘yung pinag-aawayan nila.
“Nae-enjoy ko talaga ‘yun, ‘Girls, relax. Isa lang ako.’
“So, siyempre sinasampal nila ako sabay rin.” Ian gave that amusing statement at the presscon of A Love To Last’s final five weeks of airing that would highlight their September 8 concert at Kia Theater.
The hunky actor went on to share his innermost thoughts as to who would end up with his character Antonio “Anton” Noble IV.
Bea essays Andrea “Andeng” Agoncillo, the second wife while Iza is Grace Silverio, Anton’s former wife and mother to their three kids, until he asked for an annulment.
Bea was asked what if she were in Andeng’s shoes, what would she do?
“Medyo mahirap pong sagutin ‘yan,” averred Bea.
“Because we all know that it’s not an easy situation.
“Marami kang kailangan tiisin, marami kang kailangan harapin.
“Haharapin mo ‘yun forever kasi meron siyang tatlong anak.
“So, mahirap pong sagutin.
Anyway, A Love To Last is now nearing it’s end and is on its last five weeks of airing.
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
