GRETCHEN Barretto is not happy with the comparison of a netizen about her lean body to Claudine’s visible weight gain.

“I DO NOT APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENT… Do not put anyone down while praising me,” she countered.

On top of that, tinarayan din ng blogger si Claudine habang pinupuri naman si Gretchen, “Ganda ng outfit @gretchenbarretto buti na lang sa daddy ka nagmana sa body. Kawawa ngayon ang laki ng mukha ni Claudine.”

In the same post, their brother Jay-Jay Barretto chastised the netizen from dishing out some intriguing comments about the two sisters.

The Instagram dude with the handle name @rkgit.ocon immediately said sorry.

Looking back, Claudine and Gretchen have some falling out since 2013.

That was the time when Claudine had a court battle with estranged hubby Raymart Santiago.

But Jay-jay posted on Instagram that they (he and sis Michelle) have already settled their gap with Claudine.

Anyway, magulo talaga ang mga kaganapan sa Barretto sisters. Two years ago, Claudine and Marjorie have settled their differences and, concomitantly, have made peace with each other at Julia’s 18th birthday celebration.

It will be remembered that at exactly the same time, Marjorie and Gretchen had a “silent war” that was purportedly triggered by a simple gap between them.

At least, Gretchen has softened towards Claudine and that is a good beginning.

‘Di ba naman? I guess it’s only a matter of time before the sisters settle their differences.

We don’t get to see each other as often but I have always admired the star for all seasons Vilma Santos from afar.

Iba siya sa mga artistang na-meet ko na. For someone so popular, Vilma’s within the reach of everyone.

Walang prima donna complex, levelheaded at napaka-sweet. You can feel her sincerity emanating from the core of her existence.

In the past, may mga nang-intriga siguro sa akin sa Star for All Seasons. Tipong may sinabi raw akong hindi maganda kay Ate Vi sa aming radio show and I was trying to put her down.

NOT TRUE!

Hindi ako nangba-backbite kay Ate Vi dahil respetado ko siya at mahal in my own way!

Walang halong showbiz at kaeklatan ‘yan!

Magkita man at sa hindi, consistent ako sa pagsuporta sa kanya.

Wala na kasing tulad niyang artista na marunong makisama at sincere kung mahalin ang kanyang Vilmanians.

Imagine, part ng kanyang talent fee sa isang commercial ay ibinigay niya sa pondo ng Vilmanians para if ever magkasakit man ang iba sa kanila ay may pondong dudukutin.

How utterly generous and sweet!

Kaya Ate Vi, please don’t believe some stories that I’m supposedly badmouthing you because that’s not true.

Hindi man ako tulad ng Vilmanians mo na laging nakasuporta sa ‘yo, I am supporting you the best way I can without asking to be recognized and be thanked for.

ANG CAREER AT LOVELIFE!

Right after the finale of the soap Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita had been shown sometime in the year 2015, Jane Oineza appeared to have been wanting of acting assignments.

Bukod sa ilang guestings sa Ipaglaban Mo at Maalaala Mo Kaya ng ABS-CBN, she did not appear in any soap nor did she have some TV guestings. “Pero ‘yun nga, even though wala namang project, nakatutuwa rin na hindi naman ako nakalilimutan ng management. Binibigyan nila ako ng guesting.

Suffice to say, she waited in silence.

“I’m waiting and I’m trying to better myself while waiting para ‘pag dumating na nga ‘yung projects, ready na ako,” she intimated. “Nag -diet ako at nagwo-work out para laging fresh at happy.”

Tungkol naman sa intrigang her lovelife has stood in the way of her career’s progress, Jane has this to say.

“I just want to say that even before I had a love life, wala na talaga ‘yung projects,” she asseverated.

“My love life really wasn’t a factor, kasi even before I had one, wala na talaga.”

Sa ngayon, obvious ang togetherness nila ng dating Pinoy Big Brother 737 housemate na si Kyle Secades.

“Supportive rin naman si Kyle when it comes to my projects. Of course, I can balance things.”

Apart from her career, Jane spends her spare time in caring for his dad Edwin Oineza.

“Na-stroke siya. He’s in the province right now, doing rehab to recover,” she averred. “Nag-uusap naman kami constantly sa phone.

“One time, he called me and natuwa ako.

“Kasi, ‘di ba, ‘pag na-stroke ka, ‘yung pagsasalita mo nagiging slurred? Parang hindi ka makapagsalita nang maayos pag ganoon.

“Natuwa ako no’ng nakausap ko siya kasi the way he speaks, maayos. Clear na.”

Sa digital conference ng suspense thriller na Bloody Crayons under Star Cinema, obvious na happy si Jane.

“Masasabi ko na this is a good time in my life,” she enthused. “Yes, it is, kasi ‘yung matagal ko nang ginagawang pelikula ay mapapanood na ng mga tao.”

Two years ago, Star Cinema announced the filming of Bloody Crayons featuring Joshua Garcia and Manolo Pedrosa.

After so many script revisions, the suspense thriller is finally showing this coming July 12.

“Ang dami-raming pinagdaanan ng pelikulang ito, so I’m happy na makikita na nila ‘yung pinagkakaabalahan ko at ‘yung hard work naming lahat.

“Hindi na nila masasabi na wala akong ginagawa.”

Anyway, super excited si Jane sa pelikulang ito and she hopes that this is the start of something eventful in her career.

And with that, ito po ang kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
