Atake sa US, Russia, ME, PH sa Ramadan hikayat ng IS

CAIRO, Egypt – Sa audio message, sinasabing mula sa spokesman ng Islamic State, ay maririnig ang panawagan sa mga terorista na maglunsad ng pag-atake sa Estados Unidos, Europe, Russia, Australia, Iraq, Syria, Iran at Filipinas sa paggunita ng Islamic holy month ng Ramadan, na nagsimula nitong Mayo.

Ang audio clip ay ibinahagi nitong Lunes sa Islamic State’s channel sa Telegram, isang encrypted messaging application.

Ito ay sinasabing mula sa offocial spokesman ng militant group na si Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer.

Ang “authenticity” ng recording ay hindi pa nabeberipika, ngunit ang boses ay  kapareho ng naunang audio message na sinasabing mula sa spokesman.

“O lions of Mosul, Raqqa, and Tal Afar, God bless those pure arms and bright faces, charge against the rejectionists and the apostates and fight them with the strength of one man,” pahayag ni al-Muhajer. Ang “rejectionist”  ay derogatory term na ginagamit na pantukoy sa Shi’ite Muslims.

“To the brethren of faith and belief in Europe, America, Russia, Australia, and others. Your brothers in your land have done well so take them as role models and do as they have done.”

Ang ISIS-inspired Maute group ay naglunsad ng pag-atake sa Marawi City noong 23 Mayo, dalawang araw makaraan ang pagsisimula ng Ramadan sa Filipinas.

Bunsod nang pag-atake, nagpasya si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magdeklara ng martial law sa Mindanao.
