ITINALAGA bilang White House Assistant Press Secretary sa ilalim ng Trump administration, ang Filipino-American na si Ninio Fetalvo.
Bago pinangalanang assistant press secretary si Fetalvo, siya ay nagsilbing Deputy Director of Strategic Media ng 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee, humawak sa inagurasyon ni US President Donald Trump.
Nagkaroon din ng iba’t ibang posisyon si Fetalvo para sa Republican National Committee (RNC), kabilang ang Asian Pacific American Press Secretary, Florida Communications Director, at Deputy Director of Media Affairs of the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Ayon sa report, -ling mismo ni Press Secretary Sean Spicer ang 23-anyos na si Fetalvo para maging assistant niya nitong 20 Enero.
Si Spicer ay dating boss ni Fetalvo sa RNC.
“It’s truly a very humbling experience. It’s a real honor to work on behalf of our country and the American people. I’m really excited to see what President Trump and Vice President (Mike) Pence accomplish to truly make the country great again,” pahayag ni Fetalvo.
Kabilang sa magiging trabaho na tututukan ni Fetalvo ang mga isyu sa trabaho, edukasyon, transportasyon at veterans affairs.
“Being at this position in the White House really excites me to just be able to help communicate and emphasize the policies that (are) really going to make our community better and more prosperous,” dagdag ni Fetalvo.
Si Fetalvo ay anak ng Filipino immigrants mula Bicol at nagtapos sa George Washington University na may degree sa political communication.
