PH walang balak makigiyera sa China — PNoy

WALANG plano ang Filipinas na pumasok sa giyera laban sa China kaugnay ng sigalot sa teritoryo sa pinag-aagawang isla sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Sinabi ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III sa Publish Asia 2016 sa Manila Hotel, ayaw ng Filipinas ng giyera dahil walang panalo rito kaya ang ginamit na pamamaraan ng gobyerno upang resolbahin ang territorial disputes sa West Philippine Sea ay sa pamamagitan ng paghahain ng reklamo sa UN tribunal.

“Nobody stance to gain, and intact the whole starts to lose if it does bound to war, the Philippines for instance renounces war as an instrument to foreign policy that’s embedded in our Constitution,we have no illusions of ever trying to match, trying to engage anybody in an arms race or the military buildup, we would rather devote our resources to the classical economical, the butter side rather than the gun side,” paliwanag pa ni Pangulong Aquino.

“Let us resolve with certainty the issues that are before us, who is entitled to what and what is each, once obligations relative to these entitlements, and having to resolve that, then we can proceed to improve all of our relations because there is certainty in how we are supposed to deal with each other,” dagdag pa niya.

Wika pa ng Pangulo, dumulog din sila sa ASEAN leaders upang hingin ang suporta ng mga ito sa ipinaglalaban ng Filipinas sa territorial disputes upang maresolba ang sigalot sa legal na pamamaraan.

“And we are glad to note that more and more are joining our position that there has to be a solution to this issue again based on international law, based on a rules-based approach in resolving the matter. And we are glad that our voice has been heard and the voice of others who are similarly situated has been noted and there has been positive movements towards resolving this particular crisis,” paliwanag pa ni Pangulong Aquino.
