Nagwelga ang gambling operators sa Cavite

DAHIL hindi na makayanan ng gambling operators ang malaking ‘tara’ o ang weekly intelihensiya na hinihingi sa kanila ng isang sarhentong Otsias, alias “Boy demand” napilitan silang magwelga simula pa noong araw ng Martes.

Iyan ay dahil daw sa ubod nang takaw ni Otsias na sinasabing umaaktong pacman sa Cavite Provincial Police Office.

Student Leaders Immerse in Munti LGU

LOCALS visiting the City Government of Muntinlupa see youthful zest and vigor in public service as students undergo immersion program in the local government’s offices.

In celebration of Boys and Girls Week 2015, 235 leaders from elementary and secondary schools across Muntinlupa were invited to assume office, including executive positions, last October 12 as part of their itinerary of activities in the local government unit.

As mandated by the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2014-108 “Celebration of Children’s Month,” the Youth and Sports Development Office organized an immersion program for students from both public and private schools to have first-hand knowledge and experience how government operations work.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi greeted the elected “Little Officials” as they accept the leadership roles given to them during the flag raising ceremony held at Muntinlupa City Hall.

Fresnedi commends the student leaders and hopes that the immersion program may instill in them a sense of patriotism and nationalism even in young age.

Some of the students elected to be Little Officials were: District 1 Little Congressman Keycelyn Galaman (Muntinlupa Elementary School), District 1 Little Mayor Ameera Jahnne Cabusao (Bayanan Elementary School), District 2 Little Congressman izy Joy Araw (Bagong Silang), District 2 Mayor Jan Krystel Tullao (Alabang Elementary School Main), District 3 Little Congressman Nicverish Ann Soriano (San Roque Catholic School), District 3 Little Mayor Rodge Lampasa (Tunasan High School), and District 4 Little Mayor Rodge Lampasa (Tunasan High School).

Fresnedi administration believes in the potential of the next generation as integral block in nation building and continues to strengthen programs and projects for the youth such as scholarships, sports and art programs.
