MASAYA ang dating Viva Hotbabe na si Andrea del Rosario na nagagawa niyang pagsabayin ang pagiging aktres at ang pagma-manage ng kanyang business.
Bahagi si Andrea ng TV series na Pari ‘Koy ni Dingdong Dantes bilang asawa ni Leandro Baldemor. Pero hindi siya nakatali sa anumang TV network, kaya nakakalalabas siya sa ibang station. Like last time, naging guest siya sa Ipaglaban Mo ng ABS CBN.
Pagdating naman sa negosyo, may restaurant business siya, ang Longganisa Sorpresa.
“I love doing both, sabi nga nila, ‘Do something that you love to do, and you’ll never work a single day in your life.’Life is too short, which I’ve learned from my experience with my daughter. So, I just wana have ths mantra in life -To do something that you love to do,” esplika ng aktres ukol sa pagiging aktres at sa pagnenegosyo niya.
Nasabi rin ni Andrea na mas hands-on siya ngayon sa business niya. “Mas hands on ako ngayon, before hindi because I had to live in the States for two years and nagka-baby ako (Beatrice) na may medical problem. So bottomline, napabayaan and nawalan ako ng interest before.
“But now, I like it and I’m enjoying it now that Bea’s bigger and recovered.”
Bakit Longganisa Sorpresa? “Longganisa, because my Mom/Lola is from Pampanga and exposed kami to delicacies and food. And because of travelling around the Philippines when I was a Hot Babe, I got to take home different kinds of longganisa.
“I’ve also been to Spain and saw their shops na puro iba’t Ibang klaseng chorizo. So I said, why not in the Philippines?”
Sa ngayon, sa Brgy. Kapitolyo Pasig ang branch ng Longganisa Sorpesa ni Andrea, dahil inalis na niya sa SM North EDSA. “Infront ito of Ace Water Spa. We have been asked for franchising and we will be ready in a few months from now.”
