Lance Raymundo, dream role ang maging Jesus Christ

ITINUTURING ni Lance Raymundo na dream role niya ang makaganap bilang Jesus Christ. Kaya sobra ang kanyang kagalakan at itinutu-ring niyang malaking blessings nang finally ay magkaroon ito ng katuparan.

“Blessing ito para sa akin. It is my dream role na gumanap bilang Jesus Christ.

Last year, noong una kong nakuha and role na ito ay ibinuhos ko lahat ng kakayahan ko sa project na ito. Pero hindi nga natuloy dahil naaksidente ako around two weeks before play date.

“I feel so blessed to have survived my near death experience and being able to finally portray Christ on the month of my first anniversary (March 19, 2014 nangyari ang aksidente), is the best way to celebrate this gift of new life,” saad ni Lance.

Gaganap si Lance bilang Jesus Christ sa musical play na Senakulo 2015 na mula sa pamamahala ng batikang aktor/direktor na si Lou Veloso.

Gaano kahirap sa iyo na ang life story ni Jesus ang ginagampanan mo?

“Pinakamalaking challenge ito sa akin bilang artista. Kasi, hindi siya fictional character na puwede kong laruin. I have to portray him in the most correct way possible. And in doing so, I need to be more spiritually connected to him. For any actor gi-ven the chance to portray Christ, we should not treat this like an ordinary acting job, but more like a mission.

“Sa acting siyempre, you always have to study and study. Pero to portray Christ, you have to know Him. So, nadadaan sa dasal iyon.”

Idinagdag pa ni Lance na magandang experience para sa kanya na i-handle ng tulad ni Lou. “It’s very ideal for me to be directed by someone like Lou who also happens to be an actor. Aside from that, he has a huge heart and has sincere love and respect for his art.

“So, madali kaming nagkakaintindihan and it makes it easier for me to give him the performance he expects.”

Bukod kay Lance, ang Senakulo 2015 ay tinatampukan din nina Bodjie Pascua, Ced Carreon, Aldrico Padilla, Tracy Quila, Bernardo Bernardo, at iba pa. Ito’y sponsor ng Greenfield Deve-lopment Corporation ng pharmaceutical tycoon na si Mr. Jeffrey Campos.
