BUMUBUTI na ang kondisyon ni Senador Juan Ponce Enrile sa Makati Medical Center.

Ito ang ibinalita ni Jack Enrile sabay banggit na patuloy ang paggagamot sa ama sa sakit na pneumonia.

“He’s getting better. His fever is gone for today. He was just checked by his doctors. He’s under massive intravenous antibiotics. That’s to be expected given the level of infection of his pneumonia.”

“He’s being monitored and right now wala siyang fever, medyo mataas ang appetite. That’s a good indication he’s feeling better.”

Ikinuwento ni Jack na nagsimula ang sakit ng amang senador nitong Enero. “He had a two or three week-cold that could not get better.”

Na-stress din aniya ang senador nang ipagdiwang ang ika-91 kaarawan kaya lumala ang lagnat at umubo nang may dugo.

“I guess the stress of ‘yung birthday niya, ‘yung dami ng visitors niya, friends and family… I guess that took a toll.”

“For about two days before he was rushed to the hospital he developed a fever that got higher and higher. Two days ago he coughed and noticed there was blood already.”

Huwebes ng madaling araw nang ilipat si Sen. Enrile sa Makati Med mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital.

Magugunitang Setyembre nang pagbigyan ng Sandiganbayan Third Division ang hirit na hospital arrest sa Camp Crame ng senador na nahaharap sa mga kasong plunder at graft dahil sa multi-bilyong pork barrel scam. (JAJA GARCIA)
