MANILA – “Crazy Beautiful You,” the la-test movie of the popular love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo has, made P32 million on its opening day on Wednesday. The figures were announced on the ABS-CBN program “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” where Padilla and Bernardo sat down with Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino for an interview. “Gusto kong magpasalamat nang sobra-sobra sa lahat ng mga tao. Umaapaw, sobrang saya talaga namin. Hindi lang kami, kundi pati sina direk, buong staff na naghirap para sa project na ‘to. Thank you so much,” Bernardo said. Padilla, on the other hand, was at a loss for words when asked to comment on the early success of their movie “Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat nang sobra-sobra po na talagang nagustuhan ninyo po ang palabras namin. Basta, maraming-maraming salamat,” he said. “Crazy Beautiful You” is now showing in 226 cinemas nationwide. Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Carmi Raymundo, the romantic comedy is the fourth movie topbilled by Bernardo and Padilla. It also stars Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Concepcion and Iñigo Pascual. It is about a love story that blossoms during a medical mission at Mt. Pinatubo in Tarlac.
