NAGLUNSAD na ng all-out offensive ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) kontra sa Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).
Kinompirma ni Lt. Col. Harold Cabunoc, hepe ng Public Information Office (PIO) ng AFP, iniutos ito ni Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang, chief of staff ng AFP, sa Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom)
“It had already started a few days ago after the BIFF attacked innocent civilians in (Barangay) Kabasalan and also nearby villages,” ani Cabunoc.
“Right now, our forces are also coordinating with different local government officials to protect the displaced persons who are now taking shelter in evacuation centers in Pagalungan town also in Pikit town.”
Ngunit giit ni Cabunoc na “this has nothing to do with Mamasapano.”
Ikinanlong ng BIFF si Usman — AFP
NAKATANGGAP ng impormasyon ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na kinanlong ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) ang international terrorist na si Basit Usman.
“We have received information that [Usman] was coddled by the BIFF before,” ani Lt. Col.
“The BIFF had been coddling Usman for many months now and we are calling on the people to help us locate Basit Usman’s cohorts and also in locating these BIFF members who are continuously using armed violence to attack innocent civilians and communities.”
