Edukasyon para sa lahat sisikapin ng DepEd, Save the Children

NAKIPAGSANIB ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa children’s rights organization na Save the Children upang matiyak ang pagpapatupad ng iba’t ibang education programs sa buong bansa.

Sinabi ng DepEd, sakop ng nasabing partnership ang mga programa sa early childhood education, basic education, literacy at mother tongue-based multilingual education, school health and nutrition, child protection, edukasyon sa emergencies and disaster risk reduction at climate change adaptation.

Kabilang sa mga target ng partnership ang pagtiyak sa tagumpay ng layunin ng DepEd na edukasyon para sa lahat.

“DepEd and Save the Children will combine its efforts to universalize kindergarten education through the KapitBahayan-Aralan program, a child-focused, developmentally appropriate, play and active learning-based early education program, which serves children from marginalized and disadvantaged communities,” ayon sa DepEd.

Nagkasundo rin ang DepEd at Save the Children na pagsanibin ang kanilang pagsusumikap at panatilhin ang working relationships sa pagpapatupad ng mother tongue-based multilingual education upang mapagbuti pa ang pagkatuto ng mga bata ng mga kaalaman.

Ipinunto ni DepEd Secretary Armin Luistro ang kahalagahan ng programa sa proseso ng pag-aaral ng mga bata, sinabing ito ang maglalaan sa kanila nang matibay na edukasyon sa first language at ma-develop ang cognitive and reasoning skills.
