Ate Vi, pagbabatiin sina Mother Lily at Manay Ethel!

Nagulat si Governor Vilma Santos nang mabanggit ni Mr. Jun Nardo na wala raw sa gathering na ‘yun sa Valencia Homes ni Mother Lily Monteverde ang doyenne ng entertainment writers na si Manay Ethel Ramos.

Knowing how up-to-date Queenstar Vi is when it comes to the latest showbiz gossips, it was pretty surprising that she was not aware of the gap between the Regal Matriarch and the famed Manay Ethel.

But then, hindi naman kasi naisulat talaga ‘yun up to the minutest detail dahil ayaw naman talaga ni Manay.

Sabi nga niya, some things are better left unsaid. Hahahahahaha!

Anyway, nang ma-realize ni Ate Vi na may gap nga sina Manay at Mother, nangako siya sa working press na siya na raw ang magme-mediate o gagawa nang paraan para muling magkabati ang dalawang stalwart ng show business.

Anyway, isa rin sa mga naitanong sa multi-awarded actress ang hindi niya pagdalo sa gathering ng mga veteran showbiz actors and actresses sa Sampaguita Vera Perez garden may isang linggo na ang nakararaan gayong si Ms. Nora Aunor was there, along with some stalwarts in the business.

Nabanggit din ang pagpanaw ng kanyang trusted friend na si Tita Aida Fandialan.

According to Ate Vi, up to the day that her friend/confidant of long standing got burried, inasmuch as she offered some prayers for her, she never did have the guts to see her inside the coffin from the day she arrived from London.

Malaking kawalan talaga kay Ate Vi si Ate Aida since she was barely 24 years old when they met and from then on, they were ne-ver separated from each other.

Si Ate Aida ang nag-aasikaso ng kanilang finan-ces at guardian din ng mga anak niyang sina Luis at Ryan.

Anyway, said affair was also Ate Vi’s announcement of the 433rd Founding Anniversary (Ala Eh! Festival).

As the biggest tourism event of the provincial government headed by Gov. Vilma Santos Recto, the

Ala EH! Festival aims to join all contingents across the province of Batangas in a unified commemoration of the province’s foundation.

The heritage town of Taal, under the leadership of Mayor Michael Montenegro, is this year’s host, and the various activities of the festival will be held on its grounds from December 1 to 8, 2014.
