NAGKABATI na sina Pangulong Benigno Aquino III at Vice President Jejomar Binay matapos ang heart-to heart talk sa Palasyo, ilang oras makaraang banatan ng Bise-Presidente ang Punong Ehekutibo.

Inamin ng tagapagsalita ni Binay at Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla ang naturang pag-usap nina Pangulong Aquino ay Binay, at naghiwalay ang dalawa na parehong masaya.

“They talked about the remarks of the Vice President. It appears that all is well. The Vice President was in very good spirits when he left the Palace,” ani Remulla.

Nagpasya ang dalawa na magkasundo na upang hindi samantalahin ng iba ang tila nagkalamat na relasyon ng matagal nang magkaibigan.

“Before the fire might get too big, and fully aware that some people might take advantage of the situation, they have threshed it out among themselves what the Vice President really meant,” dagdag ni Remulla.

Aniya, parang walang naganap na hidwaan sa Pangulo at kay Binay dahil nagtatawanan pa sila habang papalabas ng Palasyo ang Bise-Presidente na inihatid ng Punong Ehekutibo.

“They were laughing while the President walked the Vice President out of the door. They’re really good friends and they’ve shared a lot in the past. Communication lines between them have always been open,” ani Remulla.

Sa ginanap na 5th MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) Accredited National Convention of Public Attorneys kamakalawa ng gabi, binatikos ni Binay ang kontrobersiyal na Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) na idineklarang unconstitutional ng Korte Suprema ang ilang probisyon.

Naging malupit, ani Binay, ang administrasyong Aquino kay dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo habang malambot naman kay PNP chief Director General Alan Purisima.

Tahasang tinukoy ni Binay si Interior Secretary Mar Roxas bilang nasa likod ng umano’y demolition campaign laban sa kanya.

Ayon naman kay Remulla, ang mga naturang pahayag ni Binay ay usapan lang ng mga abogado dahil ang pagtitipon ay para sa government lawyers.
