DALAWANG matinong pelikula ni Allen Dizon ang magkasunod na naipalabas sa dalawang film festivals abroad. ‘Yung una ay ang Magkakabaung directed by Paul John Laxamana at ‘yung pangalawa ay ang Kamkam under the helm of Director Joel Lamangan.
Magkakabaung and Kamkam were both invited at the 59th Montreal World Film Festival slated on August 28. After this, sa 9th Harlem Film Festival naman pupunta ang dalawang pelikula at ito ay gaganapin sa September 10.
At about the same date, ‘yung Hustisya naman ni Lamangan din is going to Toronto Film Festival.
Take note that all three films were all line produced by Dennis Evangelista who is also managing the career of Allen.
Dennis miraculously turned the image of the then bold male starlet Allen into a serious awarded actor this time.
Allen leads the cast of Magkakabaung and supported by Gladys Reyes and other Kapampangan actors.
Kamkam is also led by Allen with the able support at Sunshine Dizon, Jean Garcia and Jackie Rice.
On the other hand, Hustisya has Nora Aunor who won as best Actress at the Cinemalaya Film Festival.
