For some reasons totally understandable, si Jennylyn Mercado ang unang naisip tawagan ni Mark Herras when his dad Jun passed away due to some complications of his diabetes ailment a couple of days ago. Ibig sabihin lang, malalim talaga ang pinagsamahan ng dalawa kaya up to this very moment, kaibigan pa rin ang turing nila sa isa’t isa.

How veritably nice.

Bibihira talaga ang ganyang matagal nang naglaho ang kanilang love for each other pero ang platonic love and caring na maituturing ay nanatiling naroroon.

Touching talaga, di ba naman?

Going back to Mark, I always remember his dad Jun Herras with absolute fondness.

Magka-batch kami noon sa University of Nueva Caceres prior to my transferring to the Ateneo de Naga college (now University) and I would say that his dad was a real looker.

Lately na lang nag-fade ang kanyang overflowing sex appeal nang magkaedad na at malugas ang buhok at tumaba.

But during our years together and even du-ring the mid-90s when I saw him again after many years of estrangement, he was still admittedly a looker. A lot better looking than Mark if I have to be absolutely honest. Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Anyway, Jun, my good friend, is now at rest and free from any troubles and heartaches.

Be at peace, my friend. You will be inordinately missed.
