Sa pilot episode nito, her show rated a 9 something percent. Maganda na sana ang figures, ‘yun nga lang, kinabog pa rin ito ng katapat na programa that registered a 14 plus percent.
Sayaw versus kantahan ang labanan, the “voice” prevailed over the “groove.”
However, we gave CPA’s show the benefit of the doubt. Asang-asa kami na papalo sa ratings ang ikalawang episode ng kanyang weekend show, hindi man nito talunin ang “boses,” kahit paano’y didikit ang ratings ng “indak.”
After all, kitang-kita naman kasi ang effort ni CPA sa paulit-ulit na plug ng kanyang show, and for that we give her an “A” for her walang-kapaguran, pawis-pawisan at makabaling-butong dance steps that would give choreographers Maribeth Bitchara, Geleen Eugenio and Joy Cancio a run for their money!
Sadly, and very sadly, ang show ni CPA dipped to 7 something percent na doblehin mo ay siyang rating ng katapat nitong show!
So, what exactly is this telling us?
Please lang, give this CPA her well-deserved chance to prove na kayang magmilagro ang kanyang show to deliver the desired ratings.
Mag-move on na tayo. Bahagi na ng bitter past ni CPA ang pagiging flopchina ng kanyang previous show, let it be relegated to the annals of history.
Chance, chance, chance…CPA deserves it this time if only for being a good-natured, well-intentioned and hardworking person.
