HIS time has truly come. Yes, Michael Pangilinan is truly the talk of the town amongst our young music geniuses. The former X-Factor finalist has appeared in so many concerts all over the country with a self-titled album that’s selling like hotcakes at Odyssey, Astroplus and SM stores. Songs included in his Star Records’ released album are Bakit Ba Ikaw?, Ang Saksi Ko, Dance With My Father, Umagang Kayganda (duet with Prima Diva Billy) and his biggest hit, a revival of Kung Sakali, a Pabs Dadivas’ original.
Michael Pangilinan always wows his live audience with his soothing R&B-yish voice and his good looks. ”Guwapo talaga and lalong gumuguwapo when he performs onstage kasi ang ganda-ganda ng boses niya,” ang madalas naririnig natin tuwing siya ay kumakanta in many shows. In fairness to him, all his shows are always jampacked.
This coming Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 9:00 p.m.., Michael is set to break his own boxoffice records in the concert arena as he mounts Kung Sakali (The Concert) at the Klownz Comedy Bar (Quezon Avenue, Q.C.) with very special guests Richard Poon, Prima Diva Billy, Boobsie Wonderland, Hannah Nolasco and Ka Freddie Aguilar with Butch Miraflor as musical director. Michael will surely surprise his great following as he does a medley of female songs – the likes of It Takes Too Long, Where Is It I Belong, Somebody Waiting among others. There so much to expect in the show, his new style in many songs.
