NITONG Huwebes, nagpasama sa akin si Khitz Acebuche, ng Puerto Galera, Occidental Mindoro, para papalitan ang kanyang nawalang Driver’s License sa Land Transportation Office, Malate branch.
Matapos namin kumuha ng Affidavit of Lost, nag-fill up ng panibagong application form si Khitz at wala pang isang oras, nakuha na niya ang kanyang bagong lisensiya sa pagmamaneho.
“Sana, ganito kabilis ang mga transaksyon sa lahat ng ahensiya ng gobyerno at para ma-ging mabilis ang serbisyo sa mga nanganga-ilangan. Kailan kaya magbabago ang serbisyo sa mga pampublikong hospital,” ani Khitz habang naglalakad kami papuntang Bistro Remedios para roon mag-lunch.
Hindi ako nag-comment at tiningnan ko lang si Khitz sa mata.
Sa loob-loob ko, hintayin na lang ang pagsasapribado sa maraming pampublikong hospital sa pangunguna ng National Orthopedic Center, Banawe, Lungsod ng Kabataan (National Children’s Hospital) sa Agham Road kanto ng Quezon Ave., Philippine Heart Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, Kidney Institute of the Philippines, at iba pang pagamutang bayan.
Nakikinikita ko na ang lalong paghihirap ng mga kapos nating mga kababayan.
CALL FOR ENTRIES TO THE 2014 NAMCYA COMPETITIONS
The National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) Foundation, Inc. invites students to join the 2014 Competitions for Guitar, Piano, Trombone, Trumpet, Voice, Choir, Rondalla and Traditional Music Ensembles. The event is presented by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepED).
General guidelines as well as specific rules and regulations, and application forms are now accessible online at the NAMCYA website (http://namcya.weebly.com/) and CCP (culturalcenter.gov.ph) for all interested parties.
