NLEX patuloy ang paghahanda sa Semis

HABANG naglalaban pa ang ibang mga koponan para sa puwesto sa playoffs ng PBA D League Foundation Cup, naghihintay na ang North Luzon Expressway sa kanilang makakaharap sa semifinals.

Naunang nakapasok sa semis ang tropa ni coach Boyet Fernandez dulot ng siyam na sunod na panalo sa eliminations.

Sisikapin ng Road Warriors na makuha ang isa  pang titulo sa PBA D League bago ito umakyat sa PBA bilang expansion team sa susunod na season.

“We’re going on a team-building out-of-town,” wika ni Fernandez. “I gave the boys two days off then we will resume practice after our team building. Right now, we’re trying to prepare ourselves because there are a good bunch of teams following us.”

Humahabol ang Cebuana Lhuillier, Blackwater Sports at Jumbo Plastic Linoleum para sa huling puwesto sa semis at ang dalawang twice-to-beat na puwesto sa quarterfinals.

“We’re not looking for the finals yet. All the other teams are very strong,” ani Fernandez. “We’re concentrating on our task at hand.”        (James Ty III)
